Growing up with Marvel Universe

I honestly don’t even remember when Marvel wasn’t part of my life.
Like, I grew up with it the movies, the characters, all of it. It’s just been there, always. I remember waiting for the next big movie release, feeling like it was a huge deal. Even now, when that Marvel intro starts I still get that same excited feeling, you know? It’s like home.

It was never just about the big battles or explosions for me though it was always about the characters.
Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston they didn’t just play roles. They were their characters. RDJ is Tony Stark. Chris Evans made Captain America feel like the guy you’d want to have a beer with. Hemsworth? He made Thor funny, real not just this god with a hammer. And Tom Hiddleston… Loki wouldn’t have been Loki without him. He made you root for the villain.
As I grew up, Marvel grew too.

Then they started doing these shows and it was like they opened up a whole new side of things.
Daredevil was, like, gritty, right? It was not shiny or clean and It was messy. It showed the hard stuff heroes who aren’t perfect, who get hurt, who make mistakes.
Then there was Loki Honestly it just got me thinking about who we are like really are when everything we think about ourselves falls apart. It wasn’t just about saving the world. It was about figuring out who the hell you even ar

But, let’s be real Marvel’s been kinda struggling lately.
Some of the new stuff doesn’t hit the same way. I don’t know. Maybe it’s because there’s just too much coming out now or the stories feel rushed. Some of the magic isn’t there like it used to be. I guess that’s normal. Things change. But still, it’s kinda disappointing to see something you love so much not feel like it used to.

That said, I’m not giving up Marvel’s pulled off some crazy good stuff before, and I think they can do it again. I’m hoping they’ll take it a bit slower, focus more on what really makes the characters great again.
I mean, there are some new shows and movies coming out, and part of me really believes they’ll find that spark again.

At the end of the day, Marvel isn’t just movies to me.
It’s memories and its growing up with me. It is believing in something bigger even if the heroes are flawed. And I guess, deep down I’m still that kid waiting for the next adventure to begin. Always will be.

It is just my personal thoughts as a marvel fan not violating any rules and regulations.
